Antoine Semenyo commits future to Bournemouth with new contract
Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo has penned a new long-term contract that will keep him at Vitality Stadium until 2030, putting an end to mounting speculation about his future.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian forward, who joined the Cherries from Bristol City in January 2023 for around €10.3 million, has rapidly become a key player under manager Andoni Iraola.
Semenyo’s breakthrough 2024/25 season saw him score an impressive 13 goals and provide seven assists across all competitions, helping Bournemouth secure a club-record 56 points and a joint-best ninth-place finish in the Premier League.
His performances earned him Bournemouth Player of the Month honours and drew attention from several top-flight clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United.
Despite the intense interest, Bournemouth have held firm on their valuation, reportedly demanding a fee above £60 million to part ways with the Ghanaian international.
